Name (the snapping of whips, the whipping of flags) taken from Luigi Russolo's 1913 Manifesto, "The Art of Noises". Chosen for the reference to Russolo, father of Noise, and the sly inference(s) of the phrase itself.
I use a variety of sounds, most found (electronically or in my immediate sonic space) then sometimes mixed digitally, other times kept pure or merely layered.
