but before we start to fall apart

I don’t do flames,
I might do games,
I don’t like it if it’s Too Far Out
but I don’t like it Just-The-Same.
I’m into repetitions,
I’m into exploration,
I’m into creative expeditions,
I’m into repetitions.
But enough about me – what about you,
the drunken monkeys in the human zoo?
Ready to listen? Ready to read?
Ready to want or to wish or to need?
Then here’s my line:
I’ll not try to strain you
I’ll try not to pain you,
and if you’re here for a good time,
I’ll try to entertain you
with rhyme and rhythm
(though never a reason)
we’ll dance on the tables
in poetry season
- which is all year round -
