home life  Word
i've lived in bensalem, pennsylvania all of my 16 years. not in the same house, however; i've lived in three different homes. i feel that each house i've lived in represents different stages of my life.
for the majority of my life, i lived in the cramped one floor house on craig avenue. in earlier times, it was probably a nice house but i remember it as the dirty home with too many problems to fix. i lived here from the time i was born until the time my parents divorced when i was in 6th grade. this place was full of bad memories, but it had it's good times, too.
at the time my parents divorced, we were kicked out of the house i spent my childhood in and forced to find a new home. with the very small amount we had, we just about could afford a small, one bedroom apartment right on the outskirts of philadelphia. this home, for the 6 months lived in it, was the residence of some of the worst times in my life. my mom's alcoholism became apparent in this house, and it was also the place of her death. after her death, i moved back in with my dad on craig avenue. i had just turned 12 at this point, putting me at the end of 6th grade.
again, craig avenue was my street for the next few years. it wasn't until 9th grade that we started searching for a new house. finally, we found one that we liked and fit our needs only 2 miles away from our current house.
currently, i live in a large condo with my dad and three cats. i can honestly say i haven't been happier in years.

so, there's a little outlook on my "home situation" throughout my life.
