i've been swamped with work at the moment. i'm currently on a 2 year national diploma in graphic design, and i've had quite a few new briefs sprung upon me since i began the course in september.
the brief i'm most looking forward to doing/completing is the digital illustration one! i have to do a self portrait, with a chosen background. we also have to work in the style of a certain illustrator, but i'm not sure who that illustrator is going to be just yet. i'll have to do lots of research into different illustrators!
in other non-work related news:
i'm having a party at my house tomorrow! it's fancy dress, and should be lots of fun :]
i'm dressing up as a schoolgirl/geek type thing haha.

i studied art (painting and photography) in college, and really respect what design students have to go through. studio art was tough and demanding, but not like design was. i went to the university of texas at austin, and their design program is actually pretty competitive. best wishes with your studies.
