About Sanction IV Community

Merlin Leuenberger, the brainchild of Sanction IV and co-founder of Spectral Paradisis, started making music back in 2003, messing around with some simple sound-programs and various acoustic instruments. In 2006 then, Merlin founded the Trip-Hop/Electronica project Sanction IV. At the moment there are 5 musicians working on this project, but they are still hoping to find the best-suited voice to their music.
Sanction IV have just released their debut album 'Rune' which is currently available on CDBABY.COM and in a few weeks time also on Itunes.

Merlin's second project is 'Spectral Paradisis', a Downtempo/Chillout-Liveact where the sounds adapt to the atmosphere and the mood of the people. With two Laptops and different other musicians, they play an improvised, 2-3 Hours set which changes after every show. Check it out @ www.myspace.com/spectralparadisis

just had a listen to 'hollow'... need to have a listen to more. Like your setup, and like the sound - nicely built up and layered, and I'm always impressed by those who mix better than me - your sound is really polished. Will listen to more soon...
