NEWS FOR YOU!  Photography
About Psilanthropy  Word
Psilanthropy are an anglo-russian band of 5 and come from quaint city York, in the UK.

They are Luke Hudson on vocals, Laz Popov on lead guitar, Liam Bryan on rhythm guitar, Andy Wilson on bass guitar and Sam Anderson on percussion.

They play heavy metal with a difference.

Influences include everything they listen to and the people who love them.

They are working on their first full length album, An Ill-Being Of Optimism, right now, and they hope it will be finished by the end of the year.

Please visit Psilanthropy.com for much more information on the band.

Hi! Thanks for making us Featured for the week!

Just like to say that we really wanted you guys to hear our track, 'The Battle Of Funeral Field', but.. For some reason it played 2 times faster than it should on here. So we're really sorry! If you'd really like to hear it.. It's on our MySpace (really sorry to mention them, it's like going to a posh dinner and talking about rolling in mud).

In the meantime for those of you who are interested, we're on a summer break, so we won't be performing until autumn. Good news is that we're working on a collection of brand new songs during our break.

Don't forget to visit Psilanthropy.com for an exclusive song and 15 minute film!

Thanks for visiting us!

Thank you again!

But to be fully honest: I just wrote the lyrics, sang and produced the song. The melodies (or do you say harmonies?) are actually mostly the work of my former collaborator.

The Mighty Drive project started as a collaboration with a friend of mine, but he left the project after that first song, because he couldn't handle making commercial dance music.

But I am still glad, you like the song. I can't really sing that well, you know. But thanks to VST-plug-ins and my excelent production skills (;D) it became a pretty good tune...
