Immediately upon graduation from high school and before completing my undergraduate work at Kent State, I spent time traveling and working in various other states in the U.S. The experience I gained by living and working with people from diverse backgrounds has heightened my sensitivity and developed my style as an artist.

I now live in Howland, Ohio with my wife and two children where I am employed as an art instructor at Lakeview High School.

I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree, with a minor in education. I enjoy my job very much, and have been very successful at increasing student and public awareness of the cultural importance of art.

I continue to create, show and sell my own artwork. I motivate my students and other faculty members by my creative example and by supporting opportunities to present their work. I supervise the production of the Literary and Art magazine at Lakeview, and provide private pottery lessons during the summer months.

My goal as an educator is to teach art at the college level. I am currently pursuing that goal by Attending Youngstown State University to get a master's degree in the arts with a concetration in painting.

My goal as an artist is to achieve national popularity through my work.
