it is. as far as conrstuctive feedback goes it's generaly quiet, but (as as presumptive and arrogant as this will sound) the art is of a much better quality than mainstream art communities like dA. to read and see and hear, ti's a good site. refuge. i'll get right on searching that poet too! you ahve me all intruiged now!! = D to be perfectly hones,t i'd be honoured to work with you. your poetry has not failed to make me pull this sort of face --> 0.0 yet. honestly. it's phenomenal. you need some faith in your ability because you sure as hell have the talent! get yourself some rest anyway, sweetie. i'll add you on msn. i'm thehallucinogenictoreador@hotmail.co.uk. bit of a mouthful, i know. <3 i hope you sleep well and i hope we'll talk more soon! esther. x
oh! and (i don't always post follow-up comments, i swear!) thank YOU for putting up with the comments too. and my typing. i can spell, but when ir comes to typing i'm totally lost. <3
xD a sales woman? i had my heart set on becoming a writer but i'll put it in my back up along with spy and waitress! i cna assure you, sweetie, if i ever get the opportunity to speka in ireland i'll poucne right on it. at the moment i'm thinking it may be a little out of my league but ireland is somewhere i'd love to see one day.~ i don't mind about you not commenting! i come on here every day and still struggle with actually providing people with comments. >< i'll join you in a pledge to change this!! if you remember who that spoken word was by be sure ot let me know! some fo the best i've heard are mark gwynne jones & the psychicbread and jacob sam-la-rose. very differents styles but both so engaing and unique. i'd really reccommend look them up! as for reading your work - it's preposterous! i'd never do that! the reason being that i can read the soul that goes into your work and in being able to read that i can feel that you have the capacity to project it vocally. performing is about letting go. being naked (not literally) with your words. that's how it gets effective. god, i'm tlaking like i know what i'm on about. in all truth i'm still being introduced to the vast and mercurial word of performance so don't take everything i say as stone. who knows? perhaps someday we could work on this stuff together!! in the meantime, however, i'll be sure to be reading MUCH more of your stuff and (hopefully)keeping in touch! are we friends on ehre yet? if not, would you like to be? = ) has been nice talking to you today. <3
haha, i have. i started performing a few months back. i did some work with some experienced performance poets and got quite into it - have done a few cities and a festival. i'm pretty amateur - just getting into it but it's a great way to get heard. i've met some wonderufl people through posken word. particualarly the two of yours i've commented strike me as great performance peices. i'm gonna go have a nose around your gallery in a moment! next time you're alone in the house or something you should try reading them out loud. just let loose. you'll probably feel completely foolish (lord knows i do) but genuinely i think you've great writing potential for that sort of thing! your writing is incredible for it. most places now have open mic spoken word events in various place too that you could go to. not to eprform straight off if it terrifies you but they're great places to watch and listen to some brilliant (and not so brilliant) poetry and meet like minded people. couldn't reccommend them more. (by the way - if you're not interested, i'm not trying to force you into it. xD take it as me throwing info your way?)
i just changed my address to a.big.space@hotmail.co.uk
feel free to add me.
from, blue. xx
