Once upon the time there was a band called the Novelties

Featuring some of York's finest young musician type-chaps, the Novelties are making a stir in the cliquey waters of the York music scene and that stir is growing into maybe even a moderately vigorous stir as they breach the Fibbers gig circuit and release there debut EP; 'the Earl Green EP'.

If you like pacey riffs, thundering bass, precision drumming and songs about tea, you'll love The Novelties...like a fat kid loves cake.

The Novelties are, Pete Wise, John Donnelly, Alex Woolgar, Eddy Lansell and Rich Aneley, a rather good teenage band making melodic rock. innit.
