I tend not to write this because I imagined it made me mysterious. Now I'll spill some guts. I spent my first decade of life in MN and my second in WV. As a teenager I fell in love with multitracking, having studied piano locally.
My pursuit of music led me to college at Belmont U in Nashville TN. I grew and had some success in the form of a scholarship to play keyboard in their PR traveling band, experience in projects at some great pro studios around Nashville and becoming a part of what I consider to be a great band (Under the Big Top). In that band we had good success in performing, getting a wall full of press, #1 radio on Vanderbuilt Collage radio and obtaining New York management by the folks who got Faith No More their deal. But it never got all the way to signing and I moved away for other reasons. So close!
Then I embarked on a personal world of my Fender Roads getting rid of my choral bonds and seeking with every note to avoid the cheesy overdone chordal cage encasing almost all music and loosing fear of all semitones in improvisation.
A move to Philadelphia and then back to WV brought me back to an origin. So I've amassed a huge amount of recordings, being obsessive compulsive. So now I don't know what I'm in but no matter my efforts or avoidance of effort I can't stop recording. I'm putting on here improvisational solo rhodes collection called "Semitone Rhodes" because that's just what I'm into right now. Maybe later I'll put more up to prove that I am actually cool.
