November 08 has passed. NaNoWriMo did not goes as planned (I dropped it about the first week out). Failure was due to lack of planning aka I ran out of usable plot. I didn't want to write more of the useless dribble that composes the first two sets.
However, the project was highly successful in other ways. I wrote over 5,000 words in a week, far outstripping the pace that my main novel is running at. I also learned more about how I am motivated to write. It was an opening experience to my lofty writing ambitions. This will be something I will have to try again!
See you all next year!

For those of you unfamiliar with NaNoWriMo, the goal is to write 50,000 words. It's about quantity not quality. The more writing the better, no matter how bad it comes out.
Forgive me my trespasses in grammar and spelling. I have a bad habit of switching words like their and there and dropping bits of words like 'ing' and 'ed' for no apparent reason. It just happens when I get typing away like mad.
