'Lunar' is 19 year old self-style composor Matt McKegg from New Zealand. Lunar's music fuses electronica and elements of rock with the classic sound of the orchestra.
The first album, Hybrid Awaken, was released mid-2006 under creative commons as a free download. It has picked up popularity and a large following on the social bookmarking website and community, StumbleUpon.
Two albums are in the works. The first of these being a much darker project, entitled Wall of Sound, and the second being a re-tweaked 'n' re-mastered commercial re-release of Lunar's original album.
Wall of Sound is due for release December 2007.
