hello,

this will soon be moved onto the 'works' page. There are 3 galleries online, some info on each:

landmark - is a school project, it was about graphic design. We had to make an 8 page paper on a subject. I chose the recently built civic center of Vught (nominated as one of the ugliest buildings built that year). I tried to compare the images from the planning stages to images of the finished building I shot myself. The goal was to show the false prentense of the architekt and planners.

The bits of text are direct quotes from the plans and promotional documents, grouped around depictions of the real situation. An example: "by keeping the main mass solitary, the building is more powerful" (or something to that effect). My pictures show that there is no angle from which you can see the building in it's totality, let alone free from other buildings, proving these quotes are bullshit.
The official pictures on the architekt's site were made during construction with wide angle lenses. They do show the building as a solitary mass, but to make this picture you have to go stand in the middle of a pond (which, incidentally, also leaks water into the building).

Tools of the trade
borrowed crappy cams, photoshop
Influences
none.. photography as an artform in itself holds little interest to me. Also, I don't think these are good pictures in a technical sense.
