I have harbored a passion for creative writing since I was very young.
I used to create characters and give them names not found anywhere else in the known world. And I would give myself pen names that were close to my real name but not quite.
Kids were outside playing catch and I was inside playing imaginary catch. And writing stories.
My mother still has some of the storybooks I used to create when I was a boy in her bedroom closet. They gather dust, but it's nice to know that they're still there.
I studied creative writing extensively in high school, and I plan on continuing to study it in college. I love to write short stories and poetry. I plan on eventually writing a novel. I have won two county awards at literary fairs in 2003 and 2005. I hope to one day become published.

I like to practice word alchemy.
I try to turn straw words into golden sentences, and wooden phrases into diamond-encrusted paragraphs.
I'm not really sure if I am doing it right.
But I want to make the world much richer.
