I'm a student at Florida International University studying for a B.A. in English. Yes, I know the song from Avenue Q. I'm involved with the university's College Democrats group as well as the student newspaper as copy editor.

I'm not a big fan of sci-fi, but Robert Silverburg has been a joy to read. Check out his story "To See the Invisible Man." Joyce Carol Oates = awesome, and I can definitely say that Sylvia Plath has influenced me tremendously this year.
