I'm a 20 year old designer/photographer hailing from Brisbane, Australia. I grew up in the South Western suburbs, so I always had this balance between city and country. It's impacted my style quite a bit, often I'll spend a while developing this gritty, hip-hop influenced style, then all the sudden I'm doing things that are completely inspired by nature and the vivid colours that surround and define it. I like this balance, it keeps things interesting for me, if I get tired of one style I can really switch it up and fall into something completely new.

I am currently developing my skills and portfolio independent of university. I don't think there are any fantastic options for study in the area of multimedia design in Brisbane. I may end up at university in February 2009, but right now I'm focusing on going it alone. Lately I've pushed myself to learn quite a bit in a short amount of time, hoping things continue this way. I've been fine-tuning a lot of my traditional art skills, outside of my digital/design and photographic work I do stencils and other street art.

My portfolio can be found at iikue.net, but currently is under construction as I wrap my head around Flash once more. Admittedly I haven't used Flash since high school and more than a little has changed since then. I don't have a client list, I have not worked in the industry outside of some local favours and whatnot. This will all change this year as I put myself out into the real world. Lets hope the dogs don't eat me.
