My name is Max Levy and I was born in Tokyo, Japan on Dec 28th, 1989.

I lived in Japan till I was 11 years-old, and moved to Boulder, Colorado. I lived in Boulder for 5 years, and I now live in San Francisco, California, attending the San Francisco Ballet School.

Art has always been someting I've done. I started my first doodles at 2 years-old, or so my parents tell me. I've been drawing since I've known anything. I always used art to distract myself from the mundane other life. Drawing knights and wizards and castles, I was always off in another realm of my mind.

When I was in 8th grade, I discovered Photoshop and found how fun it was to make sigs, or tags as people call them now.

Funny how I didn't realize how much bigger the digital community was. I found deviantART and began submitting to it through my first LP's. It was quite a frustrating time emotionally due to drama with my friends and trying to find a style I could call my own.

I've only grown since then, or so I would hope, and I've really come a lot closer to finding something I can call my work type.

But Art is only a side work. My true passion is dance. Ballet to be specific. I've been dancing since I was 8 and I've always loved the feeling of applause and the eyes of thousands of people watching you.

I now attend the San Francisco Ballet School as a pre-professional Trainee, and hope to join a company in the next year or two.
