This tall to ride

The Amusement Park offically opened this week. That is, we have begun recording our EP. We just got started, and I jumped directly into the record books with the shortest take ever(ok, go...STOP!) and most number of takes for one instrument in one song. But what can I do? I think we've all heard the saying, "The 37th time's the charm!"

Just got home from the Mute Math show @ B.B. King's in NYC. It was my first MM show, and I must say that they are a really talented band and they do put on quite a stage show. Seeing a band rock like that really inspires me. It's good to be reminded of the true, raw power of music.

My only complaint would have to be the lack of trains back to Jersey. You'd think enough people go to the city every night to hang out. We'd like to be able to get home between 12 and 4am without waiting 2 hours for a train. Or in our case, sitting through 6 bands and only getting to see 25 minutes of the headliner in order to not miss the train.

Moral: Go see Mute Math, but drive.

In the beginning...

There was Chaos. Soon thereafter, through a series of events which are a story unto themselves, Jesiah and Dave were introduced. Who knew that the paths they followed indiviually would someday cross to create what is widely held as the greatest collaboration of musical minds since, well, yesterday. Welcome, and enjoy the ride. We certainly will.

Not much is very new. I have been very busy with work over the past month.

Unlimited ink cartridges is a nice perk to have!
