"Things Not in Nature" is Done!!!

Well, it's been nearly a year (wow), and it's finally done. My new release is called "Things Not in Nature", and will be available as soon as the final mastering and pressing is done. I'm very proud of the result, and am hoping all my friends on HV will grab a copy (it makes a fantastic gift as well). Pricing and format options (digital download, streaming, etc.) are still being weighed, but you can guarantee it will be a bargain.
I know it's been several months since I've posted anything, but now I'm back, and it's good to see such wonderful work still flowing through the site! Hope everyone is well, and let's reconnect real soon! All my best!

Where Have I Been?

Hey, long time no social network! I've been hard at work building, coding, writing songs for the album, recording stuff, and getting some new podcasts in motion. I hope all the peeps are well, and Ill be more available for whatever now, since the difficult parts are becoming easier. Hope to hear from...someone...anyone soon!

Let's collab! I would love to work with someone here @ humble, especially a drummer with a kit they can record, or multi-instrumentalist, or anyone! I'm putting together a digital release for spring, and would really dig working with you guys! Send Me Drums, or anything else, I can mix/produce/engineer it no matter the quality; Ugly Counts!!! All File Formats, Genres, and Sounds Welcome (except .OGG, but if anyone has tips on this, please tell!)! All credit/cash will go where it's due, no worries!

I need that vespa reeeaal bad! I dont drive beacause I can't really affod to, but I could afford to throw my money to the bane of our exsistance if I had that scooter. So, be a trooper, do the right thing and let's get me a ton more freinds, Ill starting posting more stuff, and Let's get Donnie Bobb a Scooter! It would be really freakin awesome if it worked. Well, I'm going thru a little transition again. The love is dead, the dream lives on, probably the way it should...alone. Moving out, moving on...ugh...why waste our lives with this whole "love" distraction? I do it to myself every fukking time! What are my priorities? Anyway...I guess this is what the rock gods desire my life to be so that I may serve them loyally, honestly, and faithfully. I wish it were easy to escape without suicide...or narcotics...or alcohol....or television. Music is no escape, it's just a shortcut back in, so I guess that's the direction to go. Please stay with me friends, yr still the best!

I just wanted to take this minute to say THANK YOU to all the HV peeps who have offered their kind words and friendships, and space visits here. Nearly every day I get up and get a real perk when I see that someone new, or not for that matter, has left me a positive comment or requested to be a friend.
Like I said, I gave up on the whole social networking thing long ago, but Im super hyped about this place! Thank you, and keep it coming:)
O yeah...Im working on a new song as well. It's coming in the next couple of days-another HV first!

New Song "Think of Staying"

I wrote a new song, and the HV community is first to hear! (I can almost hear the gape-jawed gasps)
You may be able to hear the Lanois influence in this one, I've been going through something involving both Bob Dylan, and Daniel Lanois lately. Weird.
Anyway-I'm always looking for feedback-let me know what you think. It's definitely a little noisy, but most of my stuff is, I just can't afford NOT to be LO-FI.

All done with the initial upload and edit of stuff, and a few hours later HV is still parked in a tab on browser, getting flipped through every so often. I've also come across some realy cool work by seemingly cool people. I am even more impressed.

Let me start by saying: I don't use Myspace, or [place name of social networking site here]. As the saying goes, "Hermit at home, hermit on the internets"-right? Sure. Anyway, I'm really impressed with Humble Voice. Great solid functionality, control, much cooler layout & graphics. As a creative, It makes me WANT to use it.
I've only been on now for a few hours, so I'm going to continue editing my profile and screw around, maybe make some friends. I will report back with more. Good job HV folks!!!
