5-way duel!

Well we are really calling it a 5-way "design fest" between ronnie, DDD, Boondock and dr_vroeg and I at the kirupa forums. The idea is to bring some OOMPH back to the kirupa battle forum, so we are getting something sweet underway. The rules are as follows:

Purely vector, in any program; Flash, Freehand or Illustrator etc. The premise will be whatever is the leading headline in the Drudge Report for the chosen day.

Judging will be generally based on four things:
• Use of Color(were going cartooney here)
• Relevence to headline.
• Comedic aspect of Rendition
• Character styling

Suggestions welcomed.

Rules:
• file must be 1440x900
• completely vector, no bitmap images
• work will be posted when both are completed
• no text unless incorperated in image ie...signs on buildings, brand names etc...
• the theme will be derived from the headline in the Drudge Report on an agreed date.
• Best of three competition

Hopefully it is going to work out to be a kick arse battle, and maybe more will come out of it!

My useless human talents

Funny that I mention it now, because I was talking about the crazy things I can do today at lunch with some uni kids, and then I found this thread on kirupa: http://kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=251814 . Well here is a quick list of some of the things I can do:

* Tuck my ears into my ears and flick things off it
* Flap my ears
* Squawk like a pidgeon/random bird of your choosing
* Make a realistic water drop sound with my mouth
* Make my hair move up and down like a cyborg wig
* Flip my eyelids by brushing my palms on them
* Make a clover with my tounge
* Make a bathtub with my tounge
* Make an arse crack on the tip of my tounge
* Squeeze my body through a standard 16mm rubberband and/or a rubber sports visor
* Shoot spitballs/bluetack realllly far and acurrately

I guess 5 years of boring highschool unlocked these handy skills. I should put them on my resume.
