I suffer from that most terrible of writer's maladies -- taking on, or simply starting more projects that I can hope to ever fully deal with. And so, I'm stretched in many directions at once, most of them being away from where I should be. A couple of projects on the side, writing for someone's webcomic project, staffing on a flash-fiction website, lectures, labwork and coursework -- it all adds up. However, there's always time. As long as I'm actually connected, I know there's always time.

Briefly:

'Coherence' contains old stories that I've dug up, barely dusted down, and posted. They're nothing special, and if you want to critique them, you can. I'm not actively trying to improve them, but I will if I can.

'Contact' is possibly my most ambitious concept, and thus, it contains very little written material. Eventually there will be a corporate war in there, plans for deconstructing the planet, and the relentless pursuit of a freelancer and her brother. Eventually. You know how it is.

Now, I've gotta ask. Either way -- if you like it or you don't, or if you're just ambivalent -- leave a comment on it. Just so I know. You don't have to explain yourself, although I'll be grateful if you do.

Clara. A Syndicate Messenger.

Of middling height, with a 'cymbal' wide-brimmed hat (chinese style). Red scarf (long as you'd like). Long hair, dragged back and plaited. Small objects are woven into her hair - probably discs of metal (some kind of exchange medium, maybe? Work with me.) The coat is cut in (what I can only seem to describe as) an 'aviator' style. Brushes the ground, with lots of pockets both inside and out. She carries a large messenger-style bag, with her signed Syndicate public key on the front, quite large. The same key is marked on the back of her right hand - she has several other smaller tattoos on her hands and wrists, but the key is most prominent.
