Clémence was born on the 29th of November 1988 in Neuilly Sur Seine ( Paris ), younger daughter of four girls. Between her father, the composer Saint-Preux, and her mother, author and painter, she has always evolved in an artistic environment.
Very early, she shows a particular taste for music and song, plays the piano, guitar, attends dance and theatre classes her second passion, and is learning chinese.
At 12, Clémence meets Johnny Hallyday, one of France's greatest singer. Amazed by her voice, he records with her the song "On a tous besoin d'amour" (J.-P. Dréau / Saint-Preux) which will remain on the top of sales during many weeks. This duet will be several times Gold Disc.
In 2005, she interprets with Jean-Baptiste Maunier, the young main character of the film
"Les Choristes" , the mythical "Concerto pour une Voix", the youth work of her father, that was
renamed, for this occasion : "Concerto pour deux voix".
Welcomed by the public with an immense enthusiasm, the title will also be classified on the top of sales for several weeks.
The same year, Clémence releases her first solo single "Sans Défense",(G.Jouin / Ch.Holl) which
made her become a confirmed artist.
In 2006, a new single " La vie comme elle vient" (Ch.Hauser) reveals itself as a great success.
2007 will be the year of Clémence's first album's release : "Mes Jours". It is composed of 14 songs which Clémence interprets with elegance, freshness and lightness.
Clémence wanted it built like a private diary, full of dreams, mixed of love and passion.
This disc is very much like her : simultaneously fragile and strong, bashful and provocative.
The several musical included styles that she is particularly fond of, give it a picturesque,
sometimes exotic environment, with eclectism and originality.
She particularly wanted certain sounds and choose for that a guitar from the 60's .
The result is magic : a timeless album from which release a multitude of emotions release.
Clémence signs herself with happiness the texts of three titles and choose the other authors
and composers on blow of heart meets, particularly Christophe Hauser who worked for the major part on the album and whom she considers as one of the most talented authors of our time.
In the tradition of the famous romantic songs, "Où es-tu" asserts Clémence as a major artist. Written by Michèle Gaude and Christian Holl, "Où es-tu" is a song that reminds the big ones standards of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Céline Dion.
