I decided to upload some of my band photography that I attempted to do last night. I took around 50 pictures, and uploaded my 3 favourites. Let me know what you think - comments criticism - welcome!

Comments and stuff

Okay, I made a conciencious effort to look at the work of every person that added me as a friend, and to comment on some of the works of those people. There was some really good stuff! (And a few not so great stuff)

Just to let you know (that is if anyone actually reads this) I am always honest in my comments. That is, I won't pretend I love the work if I don't.

One thing I like about HV is that you can organize your albums and portfolios however you like to suit your own needs. It surprised me that some people don't seem to be very organised - with many of their folders/uploads entitled "untitled". Maybe I'm just OCD because I enjoy organising my portfolios!

Welcome to Humblevoice

Hello. I'm new to Humble Voice. Still getting to grips with the site and finding out how everything works. I seem to have already made a few friends on here, which is good news. Hello, new friends. As soon as I figure out how to comment and stuff then I will try to do that.

The reason I joined Humblevoice is that it seems like a more grown up art community than the ones I've been on in the past. Deviantart to name just one seems to have gotten more and more childish over the years (or is it me that's gotten older? It doesn't seem as good now as it did when I was 16) and at the same time I have become more mature with my artwork, although I admit I still have a LOT of learning to do. There's some fantastic work I've seen while browsing here on Humble Voice, and artists with such talent that I can only hope to aspire towards.

Not that there isn't talent on deviantart. It's just that it's overswamped with shit that finding the good stuff is a challenge in itself.

Anyway, bitching aside, thank you to everyone who welcomed me, and I hope I don't disappoint! Just to let you know, I welcome comments of all kinds, especially critical ones.

I apologise for any bad spelling or grammer in this entry.
