today i received a text message from a friend i had at my old job. i havent talked to him in like two years. i dont know how he remembered my number but he sent me a text message asking, "what are you jealous of cassy?"

i didnt really know how to answer it, i feel no more jealousy. so i replied with "nothing."

and he said "i dont understand cassy?"

and i replied "i gave up on being jealous. its a waste of time and it becomes such a hassle. being jealous leads to hurt and made up stories that you make up in your head. stories that you know that could never be true but for some reason you will believe them more than you believe the person you care for the most. jealousy leads to the unknown and the unknown hurts too much. "

and he replied "Ohh, you are as deep as the ocean is blueish green."
