Brennen's eclectic guitar work draws inspiration from sources as diverse as Wes Montgomery, Albert King, Marc Ribot, and Merle Travis. His lyrics draw from his experiences and childhood in the Deep South, reminiscient of the Southern Gothic tales of Flannery O'Connor and Faulkner.

Thanks! I like trying to play different styles like blues with the uke...its an interesting mashup, but I've really grown to love the blues. And maybe someday I can change something about not having enough uke on the music scene...hehehh

really though, I just keep listening to your songs. They're all so good!
