those pics were taken in kerala, india in march this year.
every year around that time, thaiyyam as the festival is called is held all over temples in kerala. these are mainly pagan rituals with different dieties. men dress up as gods and devils and are worshipped by the local people. it's a visual treat for sure and any photographer's dream come true. you should come down and check it out. it's an open invitation. :)
