Andy Howell created ARTSPROJEKT International, Ltd. in 2007 to provide a range of career-crucial services to new contemporary artists including Artist Management, Representation, Exhibition Management, and Commerce. Throughout his life and more than 20-year career as an artist, Andy Howell learned to master the idiosyncrasies of the ever-changing art world at the DIY school of hard knocks. Howell created ARTSPROJEKT International Ltd, as an answer for fellow artists attempting to navigate the perils of the institutional contemporary art world while developing or furthering a career in fine art. ARTSPROJEKT artists from around the world are managed and represented by a team of institutionally and street trained professionals, giving them time to focus on making art instead of stumbling through the business of art. Additionally the company contracts and manages exhibitions, creates limited edition reproductions of its artists works for sale worldwide, establishes working and collaborative relationships with brands. By managing many of these administrative aspects of the artist’s career, ARTSPROJEKT creates a buffer between the artist and the client entity in order to negotiate the best terms and price.
