Summer in review?

As the days pass by and my summer draws closer to and end, I'm reminded what a helluva ride it's been. I know that I've said it a thousand times in 3214678 blogs over the past few months, but this really has been a summer of change for me. Not only because of my circumstances college-wise, but as a young man as well.

I've figured out that I can overthink and overanalyze like a true champ, and thats torn me apart many a night the last three months. I've realized how attached I get, and how much I long to find the gal of my dreams. As much as I want to find her right now, I know that it's in God's hands. Besides that, the woman he has planned for me is 10,000 times more amazing than the "ideal" woman I might conjure up in a blog or poem.

Behind the man

My name is W.D. It stands for William Don, but I've always been called W.D. even when I'm in trouble, I escaped the cliche of Mom yelling my entire name to summon me from my room. I am a freshman at CSU and an Early Childhood Education major. Ask me the time of day, I'll tell you how to build a watch. That's just me, and I'm extremely talkative and love meeting new people, and I know lots of people say that, but I LOVE IT, honestly! I think of myself as old fashioned and romantic. I want to find my future wife and spoil her, along with every other possible romantic cliche you might know of, even if it's "girly" to other guys. I write poetry and experiment with photography a bit, and probably have way too many interests for my age.
