creative block

i am currently dealing with a severe case of creative block. i feel like i haven't been able to create anything worthwhile in the last four months. four months!! that's a really long time to go without making art when you call yourself an artist.
four months ago, someone who was a really big part of my life... someone who i considered to be my 'muse', who inspired me and filled me with creative ideas and made me want to show what i could do... exited stage left, and now i feel as though i'm hitting roadblock after roadblock in an attempt to find my creative juices again. some days it's just that i have no ideas at all. some days i have ideas in my head that i just can't get onto paper; try as i may, they won't translate. some days i feel like i have forgotten how to work my pencil. some days it's a mixture of everything.
and now i need advice. and i think i'm in the right place to get it. to this community of amazing artists, tell me what you use to get your creative juices flowing when you've gone a while without them. what tips and tricks do you have, what inspires you, what do you draw upon? help me out!
