Hi all,

My name is Alban and I am an insect.

I work as a film and multimedia producer in Paris, France. I’m interested in developing stories, whatever the support is. On the side, when I have some spare time, I work on my own scripts, novels and books.

I must first say I'm sorry. Most of my texts are going to be in French so you won't endure my poor English spelling and grammar.

I will try to write a summary in English of some of my posts.

My objective is just to begin to talk about my projects and let people know about them.

What is "Chitine" (or Chitin in English) ?
It is a time-opera series of books about ecology, insects and time-travel.
Being mad about insects and arachnids, I developed a story in which humans can reincarnate into the bodies of giant insects in another world only to discover a futuristic version of our planet, after the cataclysm. Are you ready to become an insect? Would you change human mistakes by travelling through time? Would you want to do so?

Chitine is:
1) A series of 3 books
2) A complete description of a world (600 pages)
3) A book of insect-like illustrations
4) An international TV series format (scripts): 20*52min.
5) A comic book

Texts are mostly available in French.
Treatment, synopsis and scripts are available in English.
I’m setting up meetings for this year’s Cannes Film Festival to discuss about the TV series and other concepts I have in my catalogue.

As you can see, this is an advanced project that still requires a lot of work. All volunteers welcome. I’m interested in meeting with artists (writers, illustrators), entomologists and professional publishers, producers, etc.

I would like to thank the people involved in the creative process: Nicolas Guerin, Yann Murzeau, Jerome Scoffoni, Mylene Janet and Sue Packard.

All the copyrighted texts and drawings are currently read by various publishers. My goal is not at all to push up the auction. I want it to be published in the best way. I would love to find an international publisher (Asia countries could be an interesting market for such a story). The whole world that lies behind the books is enormous, means a lot to me and can clearly be economically viable.

But most importantly, this is the story of my life.

I am coming from your future to let you know that you destroyed your specie allowing us, the insects, to rule the world.
And I will never let you try to change it.
