At the pace at which this world moves,
I'm surprised we don't all just,
Trip over all the things we do,
But the way we're all connected,
Connected to cyberspace,
Through satellites in outer space,
Everyone's in everyone's personal space.
Lookin' at your MySpace,
I wonder how we all manage,
To keep anything private,
Everyone in here is a pirate,
We take all that information,
For a joyride down the,
Big old series of tubes,
Sell it to the highest bidder,
Just cuz we met 'em on Twitter.
But now I find cause to wonder,
In all this malignant splendor,
Is there any sense left at all,
In asking what we've done wrong,
Because all that I see,
Is a sea of all those things,
That you want someone to see,
To go and tell all my peeps.
Where would that leave you,
Hangin' on to my front stoop,
Beggin' me not to snoop,
But I can't help but say,
That you really can't stay,
Because it's really a lost cause,
Tellin' me just cause.
I'll bet more than anything,
You could find the same about me,
Because in this wide open space,
There's unlimited ways to say,
That schizophrenia isn't a disease,
It's a state of mind,
So good luck trying to find me,
Because you really, really won't need it.
