Sub-con5cience aka Prometheus the Five Fingered Fire, 1/4 of Upper Echelon Productions, is an underground emcee to the fullest. When growing up as a child mainly into heavy metal and classic rock I was turned onto hip-hop after listening to Wu-Tang's 36 Chambers. From there I knew I wanted to be involved in the hip-hop scene, but to make music of substance and intelligence while staying away from alot of the trendy mainstream music played on the radio. I also feel music(especially hip-hop) these days sounds too clean, I am focusing on a more raw and gritty sounding hip-hop, something that doesnt sound over produced. I currently am working on my first full length solo album to be released on May 31, 2007 entitled "The Man and The Animal: A Poetic Aggression." On top of my solo efforts I am part of a 4 person production team known as Upper Echelon Productions with Dsypher, M-Theory and Soulsur5or. Not only that I am also known as Cumulus the Overcast in the Romanian group Tempesta Crew, and if that wasnt enough I am also in a two person group named Encrypted Tongues with Greek emcee Athe.
