Summer did finally come...ah summer days of sun and fun. It goes by too quickly. But NOW is still the time to enjoy each day of warmth and sun. Haven't had much time to spend in my space on HV, but I've taken lots of digital pics. So when I get some time I'll post some of them.
Winter's April Fool

Did I say spring had come? Well....March 29 we had a snow fall (see new album Winter Fatigue) and just when that had nicely melted, we had more flakes falling this morning. April Fool.!!

Sun warming, snow melting, water puddles growing...and MUD. Spring is definitely in the air. It's the time of year when I just feel like pushing the fast forward button to get through this ugly time to the grass greening, trees budding, sidewalks dry...and shedding winter woolies. Spring will be victorious over winter once again!! Yeah!
Ice Fog

We've had some very cold temperatures here in Manitoba the past week or so. Yesterday morning when I drove to work it looked foggy; however, it was just so cold that the moisture in the air was frozen and suspended low to the ground. Stepping out of my car I turned east and saw the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen in my life. It looked like a watercolor painting, but I'm not sure how to put it on paper. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me. When I stopped to think about it, no 2 sunrises look exactly alike. Just like people...no 2 the same and each one has beauty to behold. We just need to see it.

Someone dear to me encouraged me to join HV to put some of my art where others could see it. So here I am. I've never had a blog and am not used to posting my thoughts for anyone/everyone to read. But here I go...I guess I'm not too old to have an adventure.
