yeah typically uni starts in september here too. i won't be attending until january of 2008 however because i waited so long to apply. i already have been accepted and everything though. The School of Visual Arts is located in the lower east side of Manhattan, New York City, USA. It's a really prestigious art school. I can't wait to attend. I'm really upset that I didn't get what I wanted to originally do which is go to school in another country but you never know what will happen. I might take up SVA's barcelona program, or something.

sorry for the very late reply, I have been away from humblevoice, and I think I'm gunna make a come-back.

I've been accepted into the Uni of East London for Digital Arts :D I've confirmed the offer. I would like to go into a digital art business after university, that should hopefully get myself up and noticed more and ready for freelance.

I'm 19. And business is good. I'm thinking of moving across the country in a few months...planning for that...

Why I didn't like Doha... Hmmm... I dunno there was just something about that place... It's not a very friendly environment, I guess. Like you could actually feel the hostility. Or maybe it was just me. Haha.

And yes, you're right about Middle Easterners being extravagant. Haha. Poor, my ass. They're probably the biggest spenders, I've seen. LOL. And they're also very generous. :)

ohhh wow thats so great that your re working on such a size. i absolutely love working big. and actually i really love the formal interviews. i look at it as a chance for schools to differentiate me from the other applicants you know? and it always turns out really well because the admissions people are truly personable. so it wasnt that daunting and i got over the anxiousness after a couple of minutes

it's a question I get a lot. I drove by rust box cars on the way to work for the longest time, so it started with abstractions of those. I gravitated towards Ricther which eventually became Pollock. I'm still working on making my own. Hope that answers you question :)

ohhh the interview process at MICA is fantastic. i actually went down to baltimore in my junior year and had a formal interview. then this year a representative came to my very small school and actually had a conversation with about my work. finally i had a portfolio review with them at a national portfolio day. so i met three admission counselors and essentially had three interviews. they re really fantastic. how big is BIG? aha that sounds so exciting
