Hobbies
Playing the piano has always been a big interest of mine. I started playing at the age of four and slowly progressed from there. I've been wanting to get a recording for some time now and have been working on my first couple of songs. Hopefully I'll get a recording posted up in here in the next couple of weeks. I've performed for large and small audiences. Mostly taking over piano performing opportunities in high school, college, and for friends and family. I just barely have gotten into photography and videography. In high school I worked on our school's news team. I edited videos, wrote scripts, and filmed. My artistic hobbies don't stop there... I've done a couple of paintings and drawings, but have never submitted them to contests. I will probably post a few photos of them. As far as my athletic hobbies go, I've always been into running. I ran a 5K at my college in November 07. I started to train for a half-marathon a couple of months ago. I want to train for a marathon eventually... I love riding wave runners, tubing, wakeboarding, longboarding, and caffeine free chai tea lattes! :)
Television
I never really have enough time to watch TV. I am always so busy with work and school. When I do have time to watch TV, I like to curl up in a blanket and watch LOST or the latest Blockbuster movie that came out.
Books
I really like the series of books by Stephenie Meyer - Twilight
Movies
My motto on watching movies: Any movie with Will Smith or Brendan Fraser is worth watching. I normally like movies with a bit of action in them. Comedies are great too. Sometimes when I just need to relax, I'll put in a classic film and watch it.
General
Most of my life has been spent in Arizona, if you exclude the summer that I lived in San Diego. Currently, I'm living in Mesa, AZ with my family. I've got a full time job working with the admissions office for my University. I'm going to school full time and I'm aiming to graduate in 2010 with a bachelors degree in International Business. While music has always been a talent of mine, I would never go to school for music. I played the piano for my college before heading off to the university I'm attending now. There at that college, I realized that if I had someone telling me what to play and when to practice... all of the time, that I would hate playing the piano. Ever since then I've taken a more free approach to my studies on the piano. I practice when ever I like to, which is usually a couple times a week. When I do practice it is more for the enjoyment then for money or for making a composition sound perfect. I can't tell you how many recitals or concerts I've played at. That's not important to me. I love the rush you get when you perform in front of an audience. There is nothing else like it.
Music
Claude Debussy is one of my favorite composers of classical music. His syncopation makes his compositions a little bit more challenging to read and perform, but I can't get enough of his work. My favorite song is of course a song by Claude Debussy - Clair De Lune. When translated from it's original French, it means "Light of the Moon". That song is so beautiful, give it a listen if you haven't already. Beethoven, Bach, and Chopin have some really great classical music also. I am a big fan of classical piano music, but a lot of the more modern music is good too. Some of my favorite bands are One Republic, Angels and Airwaves, Brand New, Natasha Bedingfield, The All-American Rejects, Michael Jackson, Guns and Roses, Van Halen, Queen, Journey, Dashboard Confessional, and many many others...

Only thing that bothers me is how long it takes to upload videos...
But besides that HV is pretty awesome.
