EvokeONE v.4 and Pack XIII: Avant Garde
8/3/2007 at 10:04 AM
Evoke is proud to invite you to join us in the celebration of our 13th exhibition – ‘Avant Garde’.
In what has become one of the biggest collections in Evoke’s history, Avant Garde boasts an enormous amount of stunning photography, awe-inspiring audio tracks and a tremendous amount of unique, fresh and innovative digital artwork.
The arrival of some of the youngest and most inspiring new talents brought a greater sense of harmony to the group, and it pleases me to announce that there has never been a greater sense of cohesion and unity throughout the group.
It also pleases me to announce and introduce you to the fourth chapter in Evoke history.
So What’s New?
This new version boasts numerous dramatic structural changes, as well as the more obvious cosmetic changes. Not only have we been given a complete makeover, but our very own Ted Yavuzkurt has implemented an incredible back end system to ensure a harmonious and efficiency throughout the website.
The implementation of our new system has seen marvelous improvements to the member back-end system, as well as numerous features for public users.
These new features were primarily designed to motivate users to feel comfortable in providing critique and also submitting art. Our system now encourages more extensive, detailed feedback from fellow members and users, which is something which some may argue that the general art community lacks.
None of this would have been possible without the strong work ethic of some of our core members and staff members at Evoke - as well as the positive attitudes of our members as a whole.
It's fantastic to see a community working together, understanding each other and thinking pro-actively as opposed to re-actively. Evoke as a whole has stepped up in leaps and bounds over the past year - and we plan on continuing that trend.
Be on the look out for some very exciting new projects from Evoke over the next few months - but for now, please join us in celebrating a new era in our history and enjoy our latest release!

So, go check it out! ;)
New and Better Sound

As I said in my previous blog I got accepted into EvokeOne (http://EvokeOne.com), which is a really nice artgroup.
And since I want my music to sound as good as possible now that a lot of people will hear it, I decided to do something crazy.
I bought a few VSTs (VST explained simply is basicly a software synth with lots of sounds, levers and wheels that you use to get pretty sounds) which costed so much that I'll need to eat oat meals everyday for the rest of my life.
...But I'm sure it'll be worth it. *prays*
Anyways, they should arrive here shortly, and I can't wait to try it.
Keep your eyes peeled for new tracks!

I got accepted to EvokeOne.com! - Yay!
Also, I got my MIDI Controller now, and maan.. It sure makes composing a lot easier. Keep coming up with new melodies and harmonies evey minute!
Got tons of new tracks in the making, but unfortunately I can't share some of them with you yet, seeing as they're being released with EvokeOne's next pack, which is scheduled to be released August 1st.
I uploaded one of my more recent tracks called Seems We Are Falling to HumbleVoice a few minutes ago, so go check it out! I'll also upload a trancier track called "Ascension" soon.
These last few weeks I've really progressed. I've learned new programs, learned using a MIDI controller and gotten a better hang of many other things, and I've never been more motivated to keep going!
