Conditions -
We Creatures are very self-sufficient and generally do not require much from event staff. We tend to provide our own isotonic drinks and arrange our own 'handlers' - these are un-costumed helpers who guide us around, keep drinks on hand, and act as bodyguards in the event of any trouble from the public. There may however be times when we are unable to arrange our own handlers for an event, in which case we will require a member of your event staff to be assigned as our helper for the duration of our performance. In addition, we will require adequate facilities for changing and storing luggage. And, of course, any additional drinks you can provide are always hugely appreciated, as our own supplies tend to run out very quickly - costuming is thirsty work!
Health & Safety - Usually kids (and adults!) are as good as gold with our characters and we rarely run into any problems, but for safety's sake we would like to point out that rough behaviour such as hitting or excessive tugging on any part of the costume is not acceptable. If you happen to see anything like this, it would be appreciated if you or another member of staff could intervene. Curious Creatures reserves the right to pull out of an event if we feel that we are being mistreated.
Rates - The rate for private parties starts at £20 per hour. There is of course no charge for attending charity/fundraising events, though travel expenses may need to be covered if the event takes place outside the South-East of England.
