We are experienced costume performers with a wide range of characters to suit a variety of events; gigs, fundraisers, fairs, parties, promotions, carnivals, conventions, and more! Our costumes are unique and custom-made, based on our own character designs.

Curious Creatures is dedicated to bringing amazing creature characters to life for children and adults alike to enjoy. No event is too big or too small, and we are happy to travel anywhere around the country. We have performed at events for Just 4 Kids Discos, RSPCA, WSPA, Brighton Pride, Potters Bar Carnival, the Bizarre Ball, and many others.

Curiouser and Curiouser!

Some quick bulletins to start off the year;

- I am happy to say that my CRB check has finally been sorted out, and I am now in possession of an Enhanced Disclosure certificate. The main need for this document, besides just being a generally useful thing to have, is to allow me work for children's entertainment companies, which brings me to my next announcement...

- I am now on my way to working as a professional freelance character performer through the lovely party company 'Just 4 Kids Discos'. My first booking is in late February, and I can't wait!

- This year we are saying goodbye to my lovely crow costume, 'Corby'. He will soon be off to a loving new home with a fellow costume performer who specialises in performing bird characters. Sad to see him go, but I felt that, with all the new characters currently in production, that he would otherwise end up just sitting in storage, which would be a crime for such a cool-looking costume! The funds from this sale will go towards the creation of new and exciting characters - watch this space!

These news bulletins seem to have been, so far, strictly annual events! I shall try and do better this year.... How about bi-annual instead?
